Real Life Skills Training

Job Corps is a program that helps young people to gain much more than an education and technical skills training. Students also have the invaluable opportunity for real life skills training.

One of the ways students at the Boxelder Job Corps Center have gained real life work experience is by constructing a new building. With the exception of the foundation, Job Corps students and staff have done all of the construction necessary: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, windows, etc.

The pictures above show some of the progress that’s been made, due to the work and skills of Job Corps students. When the building is finished, it will house some of the trades at the Boxelder Job Corps Center.
